I have tried many different shawarma places in search of the prefect shawarma and the search stops here! I went to Ibrahim today for lunch and ordered the chicken shawarma with their hot sauce (it's either habenero or jalapeno peppers) and man was out good. Generous portions, fresh, and great price.
I would highly recommend even your in the area or even if you have to drive 20 minutes to get there like I did. Definitely worth it!! -

The shawarma is tasty but they have false advertising everywhere including huge signs outside even though they know it's not true.
Help me figure out this math. This is basic Elementary School grade 3 problem solving: If Ibrahims Shawarma Shop sells you one shawarma for $6.99, and then he tells you that you can get two-for-one..... how much should you pay Ibrahim for two shawarmas????
Well i'll tell you what! Ibrahim would score a biiiig faaaat ZERO on this math equation, because he would answer "$12.99". Everywhere says two-for-one shawarma but two shawarmas is $12.99, not for the price of one.
How is that 2 for 1? If it's two-for-one shouldn't be two for $6.99?
He really needs to remove those signs. They have been up there for years and he knows he has been false advertising to people and crushing their little shawarma dreams of thrifty 2-for-1 shawarmas.
Cmon brother ib! Stop being dishonest and deceitful in your business dealings. Remove the 2 for 1 signs...
P.s. the female worker was a true mean person. I would say worse but I'm trynna keep it halaal. -

I love going to Ibrahim's, especially when I'm in need of a late night meal after some volleyball or a night out drinking. Their meat is always fresh and what's its run out there isn't anymore. They have so many options of what to order and I love their made to order falafel, their signature shawarma wrap and their shawarma plate. They also have a hot food section but it's usually all gone by the time I've gone late at night.
This is their chicken shawarma plate that comes with a bed of rice, some potatoes and then whatever toppings you'd like. I usually get lettuce, tomato, extra red and white cabbage, and pickles plus their tahini sauce, garlic sauce and fresh made spicy sauce. -

The food is good but the sign 2 for 1 price is misleading. The price 2 for 1 is $11.99 and the single price is $6.99. In addition they charge you $.50 if you are paying debit card. I spoke to the gentleman to remove the sign 2 for 1 and his reply is tell the owner. Another day I asked to give me a receipt in order to find the HST I am paying. He refused but he gave the receipt for the debit machine. I would strongly urge CRA to investigate Ibrahim Shawarma at Lawrence & Warden area.

The shawarma was good, but I was a little taken aback by the cost. I bought 4 shawarmas sandwiches, a falafel sandwich and two shawarma plates and the total came up to $62. For a bannwr that advertises 2 for 1 shawarma, the price didnt add up. I am still confused on how it came up to that much. Another disappointing thing was that the store does not take credit cards. I am from Maryland in the US and my debit card did not work (I didnt expect it to), but they would not take a credit card. I didnt see any sign that indicates that credit cards are not accepted. I ended up spening $62 in cash in American money for my order, which I dont think is fair. The exchange rate was $0.79 American for a Canadian.
